Privacy policy

Overview

Pewén Labs SpA (hereinafter "Pewén Labs", "we") designs and publishes its own mobile applications. This policy describes how we handle information in connection with those applications and this website.

Our stance: we collect the minimum. When we can collect nothing, we collect nothing. When a piece of data is needed for a feature to work, we say so explicitly in the corresponding app section.

About Pewén Labs

Per-app policy

Carioca

Carioca does not collect, store, or transmit personal data. All information generated inside the app stays locally on your device.

This website (pewen.dev)

This site is static and sets no first-party cookies, uses no analytics, and no tracking. If you click a contact link, your email client opens — sending that message is governed by your email provider.

Your rights

In Chile, Law 19.628 grants you rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and objection regarding your personal data. If you need to exercise any of these regarding information we may hold about you, write to contacto@pewen.dev and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

If you are a resident of the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK-GDPR, and CCPA respectively. For apps like Carioca that do not collect data, those rights are trivially satisfied: there is nothing to access, rectify, or delete from our systems.

Children

Our applications are not specifically directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we launch new applications or when the practices of existing ones change. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version. Substantive changes will also be announced inside the affected apps or by email when applicable.

Governing law and jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any controversy shall be submitted to the courts with jurisdiction in Santiago.
